Horizontal bed boring is a way to create a straight horizontal bore under roads, paths, driveways etc. It can be used for long or short distances and at South Eastern Excavations we have the right equipment to ensure your project will be carried out on time, every time.

  • The bed boring equipment is relatively small and is truck mounted. It can be used in areas where access is an issue.
  • Conduits for electricity, sewer, water and telecommunication can be pulled through the bore hole.
  • Bed boring can be done at grade and can be tracked.
  • Bores up to 800mm diameter and up to 60m in length in various ground conditions are possible.
